At Harrison's California Chestnuts, we value our customers' satisfaction. However, please understand that we are unable to process returns or refunds for perishable chestnuts. Our dedicated efforts go into delivering fresh chestnuts from our farm, and the profit margins in the farming industry can be quite narrow.

If you encounter any concerns regarding the quality of your chestnut order, we encourage you to reach out to us within 48 hours of receiving your delivery. Our aim is to fully understand your concern and address it promptly, however all sales are final. To assist us in assessing the situation effectively, please be prepared to provide photographs or videos illustrating the entirety of problem.

Please keep in mind that personal preferences, such as taste, smell, texture, or ease of peeling, and floating do not qualify as quality issues. Chestnuts, like any other fresh produce, exhibit natural variations. Occasionally, a few imperfect and moldy ones may be found in the bag.

Order Change and Cancellation Policy

Orders are processed for shipping shortly after they are received, ahead of the scheduled shipping date. Once a shipping label has been created, we are unable to retrieve it. As a result, orders cannot be canceled, changed, or rerouted at that point.

If a shipping label has not been created, we can assist with:

  • Changes to the order, such as adding items or modifying sizes and quantities. Please note that this may affect the shipping date and incur additional shipping fees.
  • Cancellation of the order.
  • Shipping address changes, which may incur additional shipping fees.

Note: Any refunds resulting from cancellations are subject to a 4% service fee on the refunded amount.


Shipping Information

Please note that all shipping charges are non-refundable. Additionally, we cannot be held responsible for any delays or damage that may occur during the shipping carrier's handling of your package. Nor can we be held accountable for theft, empty packages or lost packages post delivery. Carrier claims are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient.

Right to Refuse Orders Statement:

Harrison's California Chestnuts reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion. This policy applies particularly to customers who have previously encountered delivery issues, expressed dislike for our company or products, or exhibited rude or inappropriate behavior toward our customer service team. Our goal is to ensure a positive and fair experience for all our customers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
